Breeder's Challenge
2024 foals must be nominated by June 1st for $100.00 making you eligible to show in 2025. There will be a late fee of $50 for every horse entered after June 1st until December 31st. No exceptions for late entries after Dec 31st.
Breeders Challenge horses will show their age and gender (stallion or filly) class at any
All-American Qualifying show and be awarded points based on the placing against otherBreeders Challenge horses, not the open class horses.

There will no longer be a 2 year old cart class.

Points will be straight points with the only double point All American show being the National Show.

Example: Showing a yearling filly in the yearling filly class at the National Show (Double Points) and she places 3rd in the open but highest placing Breeders Challenge filly of 3. She would receive 3 points the next highest placing Breeders Challenge filly will receive 2 and the lowest placing Breeders Challenge filly will receive 1 point regardless of their placing in the open class.
****We currently follow this when showing at the Wisconsin State Fair for the current model****
Because the National Show is a double point show, those points get multiplied by 2.

1st place Breeders Challenge filly will receive 6 points (3*2)
2nd place Breeders Challenge will receive 4 points (2*2)
3rd place Breeders Challenge will receive 2 points (1*2)
At the end of the show season, the horse with the highest points will be the Breeders Challenge winner and will go down the line in descending order.
